Purchase & Sales Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping order information accurate, supporting sales operations, and maintaining organized records across multiple systems. The person in this role will help ensure purchase activity is tracked properly, customer and order details are updated consistently, and communication with internal teams remains timely and efficient.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain purchase order information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Record order, customer, and transaction updates in Salesforce to keep sales and purchasing data current.
• Organize and update Excel spreadsheets used to track purchasing activity, order status, and related information.
• Partner closely with the sales team to align order details, resolve discrepancies, and support day-to-day workflow needs.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up as needed to help keep processing on schedule.
• Review entered data for completeness and accuracy, correcting issues before they affect downstream activity.
• Support administrative purchasing and sales coordination tasks that contribute to smooth order management.
• Maintain clear documentation of purchasing records and status updates for internal reference.

Qualifications:

• Experience with purchasing support, order processing, or a similar administrative function.
• Strong data entry skills with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of purchase order handling and order tracking processes.
• Experience using Salesforce for record updates, order logging, or related data management.
• Proficiency in Excel for maintaining and organizing operational data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple follow-ups and deadlines.

Compensation

$24.00-$30.00 Hourly
