Business Analytics/Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Business Analytics/Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for a Contract position. This role focuses on transforming raw information into meaningful business insights through analysis, reporting, and data quality improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools, along with the ability to interpret productivity metrics and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, performance patterns, and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and recurring analytics deliverables using business intelligence tools and Microsoft technologies.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and organize data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.

• Cleanse and standardize datasets to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytical outputs.

• Track productivity metrics and convert findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions.

• Review data for integrity issues, investigate discrepancies, and support resolution through structured analysis.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for querying, reporting, and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets efficiently.
• Experience measuring and interpreting productivity metrics in a business environment.
• Knowledge of data cleansing techniques and best practices for maintaining data quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate analytical findings clearly.
