We’re hiring! Our client, a well-established local distribution organization in Chattanooga, currently has two openings for motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Account Support professionals.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to become permanent based on performance. You’ll play an important role in supporting customers and ensuring orders, shipments, billing, and account needs are handled accurately and efficiently.

• Review customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
• Accurately enter orders and transactions into customer systems
• Monitor and manage a shared group mailbox, responding to questions and resolving issues
• Communicate directly with customers to provide timely solutions and exceptional service
• Coordinate ground transportation and shipping to meet customer requirements
• Process billing, pricing adjustments, and purchase orders
• Coordinate returns and ensure proper documentation and resolution
• Partner with internal teams to keep orders and customer needs moving smoothly
• Assist with data entry, filing, documentation, and other administrative support as needed

The ideal candidate is:

• Customer-focused and professional
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• A strong communicator who enjoys helping customers
• Confident using computers and learning new systems
• Experienced in customer service, order processing, logistics, account support, or a related administrative role

Prior logistics or distribution experience is a plus, but candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant college coursework preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience, preferable in customer service and logistics

• Proficiency in CRM systems and familiarity with transportation logistics.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

• Knowledge of order entry, pricing adjustments, and purchase order processing.

• Familiarity with shipping and ground transportation processes.

**Intermediate to advanced level MS Office including MS Excel is a requirement for this position**
