Leasing Consultant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome prospective residents, provide engaging property tours, and explain community features in a way that aligns available housing options with renter needs.
• Gather applicant information, assess housing preferences and qualifications, and document prospect interactions accurately in leasing records.
• Maintain timely communication with leads and applicants by conducting consistent follow-up activities that support leasing goals and company standards.
• Prepare, review, and process leasing paperwork, including applications, supporting income documentation, lease agreements, and related addenda.
• Coordinate upcoming move-ins by assembling resident onboarding materials, confirming scheduling details, and ensuring all required documents are completed.
• Meet with new residents to review lease terms, answer questions, and facilitate a smooth and organized move-in process.
• Manage notice-to-vacate activity by creating move-out materials, arranging pre-move and final inspections, and collecting keys at turnover.
• Support high-volume leasing activity by organizing multiple resident files and maintaining accuracy across documentation and scheduling tasks.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in leasing, property administration, or residential property management.• Hands-on knowledge of property management practices, including applicant screening, lease documentation, and resident onboarding.
• Experience using Yardi Software or a similar property management system to manage leasing records and related transactions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when handling applications, leases, and compliance-related paperwork.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced office environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for resident interactions, follow-up activity, and document review.
Compensation
