Customer Experience Representative

Great customer service isn't just about answering the phone—it's about knowing how to solve the problem.

A growing life sciences company in San Marcos is looking for a Customer Experience Representative to join its team. This role is a great match for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning products, and working with multiple departments to find solutions.

You'll act as a key connection between customers and internal teams including Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Accounting. The company is looking for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of customer issues from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions by phone and email
• Provide order status, product availability, and shipping information
• Enter and update customer orders in the company's system
• Research account, billing, and shipment discrepancies
• Coordinate with Operations and Shipping to resolve delivery issues
• Process returns, credits, and replacement requests
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved
• Assist Sales with quotes, customer documentation, and account updates
• Identify recurring customer issues and communicate trends to management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, order management, or account support experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in CRM or ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Ability to manage a high volume of requests without sacrificing accuracy
• Professional, solutions-oriented personality
• Manufacturing, healthcare, biotech, or distribution experience is a plus
