Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Plumber to support the operation and maintenance of a large commercial facility in Northern VA, (Fairfax).

 

Schedule

  • Hours: 8 hrs per day (40 hrs per week with posibility of overtime) 

  • Days: Monday through Friday 

  • Compensation: $32-$35 / hr

 

Position Summary
Maintain and repair commercial building plumbing systems, diagnose issues, and perform corrective repairs to ensure reliable service and code-compliant operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair commercial plumbing systems including sinks, toilets/commodes, and associated piping.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, and performance issues; troubleshoot to root cause.
  • Perform piping repairs using Pro-Press, PVC, copper, and cast iron repair methods.
  • Operate drain cleaning equipment including a K-50 (or equivalent) snake.
  • Operate a plumbing camera for drain inspections and support accurate diagnosis and repair planning.

 



Qualifications



Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial plumbing experience (facility or similar environment).
  • Hands-on experience with Pro-Press, PVC, copper, and cast-iron repair.
  • Ability to inspect, identify leaks/clogs, and troubleshoot plumbing systems.
  • Experience operating a K-50 snake (or equivalent).
  • Experience using a drain camera for line inspection.

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman License
  • EPA 608 (Universal CFC)
