Attorney/Lawyer
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of business agreements, including customer supply contracts, vendor arrangements, and confidentiality documents.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide practical legal advice that balances business objectives with risk management considerations.
• Support human resources matters by advising on employment-related issues and helping reduce organizational exposure.
• Manage commercial disputes and assist with litigation-related activities, including coordinating strategy and reviewing relevant documentation.
• Lead contract redlining and negotiation efforts to help move agreements to execution efficiently and effectively.
• Identify legal and compliance concerns across day-to-day operations and recommend solutions that are clear, actionable, and business-minded.
• Handle a diverse portfolio of legal work with limited oversight while maintaining responsiveness and sound judgment.
• Contribute legal support across commercial, employment, and dispute-related matters in alignment with company priorities.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience handling a broad mix of legal matters, with strong depth in commercial contracting. • Prior in-house legal experience supporting business teams in a fast-paced environment. • Proven ability to work independently and manage legal issues with minimal direction. • Strong background in drafting, negotiating, and redlining commercial agreements. • Experience addressing litigation, dispute, or claims-related matters in a corporate setting. • Working knowledge of employment law issues and legal risk mitigation practices for HR-related matters. • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver practical solutions quickly. • Experience in the food or beverage sector is helpful, but not required.The pay range for this position is $70 to $75/hr.
