Event Marketing Coordinator

San Francisco, CA 94103, US Remote Temporary
Compensation: $25 to $35 Hourly

We are looking for an organized Event Marketing Coordinator to help deliver a successful portfolio of B2B trade shows and field marketing programs in San Francisco, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for an early-career marketing specialist who enjoys managing details, coordinating moving parts, and supporting high-visibility events from planning through follow-up. The role offers hands-on involvement across event logistics, vendor coordination, internal communication, and administrative execution while partnering with cross-functional teams to keep programs running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day support for trade show and field marketing initiatives, helping the team keep timelines, materials, and event plans on track.
• Manage smaller ticket-only events from initial planning through completion, ensuring each stage is organized and delivered accurately.
• Arrange operational event details such as exhibitor requirements, booth services, shipment schedules, attendee badges, promotional item orders, and lodging blocks.
• Serve as a point of contact for outside partners, including exhibit vendors, freight providers, merchandise suppliers, and audiovisual teams, to confirm deliverables and deadlines.
• Organize internal event participation by assisting with travel needs, staffing coordination, registration management, and pre-event communications.
• Monitor inventory for booth assets, signage, handouts, and branded giveaways, and coordinate replenishment and fulfillment as needed.
• Keep the internal event schedule current and accessible so stakeholders remain informed on upcoming programs and milestones.
• Support lead retrieval preparation and assist with post-event data cleanup, tracking, and follow-up coordination.
• Provide administrative event support by helping with expense reporting, budget updates, and invoice processing.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, trade show coordination, marketing operations, or a related area.
• Familiarity with event logistics such as booth preparation, shipping coordination, attendee registration, lead capture, and event support activities.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage several deadlines and priorities at once.
• Comfortable working with external vendors, event organizers, and cross-functional internal stakeholders to keep programs moving forward.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to documentation, follow-up, and stakeholder alignment.
• Willingness to contribute across both strategic support tasks and detailed administrative work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Design, Product Marketing, Communications, Revenue, and Partnerships.
• Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Cvent, Splash, Linear, or similar event and project management platforms is a plus.

Compensation

$25.00-$35.00 Hourly
