Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support an education-focused organization. This is a Contract position suited for someone who works accurately, communicates clearly, and stays productive in a remote environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable using Microsoft Excel, managing large volumes of information, and delivering completed work on time.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update information with a high level of accuracy across spreadsheets and related data systems.

• Extract data from Excel files, organize it clearly, and prepare it for reporting or operational use.

• Review records for errors, inconsistencies, or missing details and make corrections as needed.

• Maintain structured digital files to ensure information is easy to access and up to date.

• Communicate progress, questions, and data concerns effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting deadlines in a remote work setting.

• Use Excel tools and general computer applications to complete data-related work efficiently

Qualifications:

• Proven experience performing data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with spreadsheets and exported data.
• Fast and accurate typing skills with the ability to handle numeric and text-based entries.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying organized and responsive.
• Strong computer skills and confidence learning and using digital tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.

Compensation

$20.00-$22.00 Hourly
