We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Technical Director and support them across a variety of technical and optimization initiatives.

Note: Candidates are strongly encouraged to submit a portfolio, case study, or relevant project examples demonstrating these skills in action.

Required Skills

• Ability to write HTML & CSS code from scratch (without AI assistance)
• Conceptual understanding of JavaScript and PHP (writing code from scratch is not required)
• Hands-on experience working with various WordPress sites and the Gutenberg editor
• Experience working with at least one major page builder (e.g., Elementor)
• Experience managing websites hosted on dedicated WordPress environments (e.g., WP Engine, SiteGround, Bluehost)
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (Technical SEO health, page speed optimization, and on-page best practices)
• Understanding of fundamental web design principles (color contrast, typography, brand consistency)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing domains and DNS configurations
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting SMTP settings
• Experience migrating existing WordPress websites between hosts
• Proficiency with Zapier or integrating lead generation platforms into CRMs
• Basic working knowledge of Google Tag Manager (basic tags/triggers), Google Analytics (reports/key events), and Google Search Console (indexing reports, Core Web Vitals, structured data)
• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools
• Experience using photo/graphic editing software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity)
• Comfort working within standard code editors (e.g., VS Code)

Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities

• Support new account onboarding to audit and resolve technical website health issues
• Fulfill technical website requests across a diverse range of WordPress environments, collaborating closely with management to ensure timely execution
• Review website projects to ensure smooth, successful launches
• Implement internal updates and project feedback, supporting post-launch optimization
• Complete technical tasks assigned by leadership to drive key performance indicators
