The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling the company's products and services to both existing customers and new prospects. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and converting sales leads into long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, following up on sales opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and understanding customer needs to recommend the appropriate solutions. The Outside Sales Representative will also support targeted marketing initiatives by identifying market opportunities, developing sales strategies, and promoting the company's offerings within assigned territories.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicates with prospective and existing customers to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives; recommends appropriate products and services to address those needs.
- Conducts product and service demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits, and value based on customer requirements.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships through ongoing communication, account management, and proactive support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Addresses customer concerns and resolves post-sale issues in coordination with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintains regular communication with current and past customers to promote new products, services, upgrades, and additional solutions that provide value.
- Accurately documents sales activities, including customer interactions, opportunities, proposals, closed sales, lost business, and customer or vendor-related issues.
- Provides accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory performance reports to management.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or at least three years of outside sales experience in related industries required.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting opportunities
- Ability to communicate solutions in a needs analysis discussion
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing an independent sales territory
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Other Duties:

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to travel.
Salary:
- $50K - $60K base salary + uncapped commission
