Accounting Manager
A growing publicly traded company in North Austin is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations, oversee a small team, and drive process improvements within a dynamic and evolving environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead month-end close activities, reconciliations, and journal entry review
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit activities
- Partner with treasury, finance, and operational leaders across the business
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with financial reporting and accounting policy initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor staff
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
Qualifications:

- SOX compliance experience
- Oracle or large ERP system experience
