Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a broad range of people operations activities in Memphis, Tennessee. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can balance employee support, day-to-day HR coordination, and accurate administration with a high level of professionalism. The role will contribute to onboarding, benefits support, employee relations, and HR systems maintenance while helping create a positive and compliant workplace experience.

Responsibilities:
• Guide employees and managers on workplace matters, helping address concerns fairly and in alignment with company policies.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new team members, including documentation, orientation support, and preparation for a smooth start.
• Administer core HR processes and maintain employee records with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Support benefits-related activities by assisting with enrollments, employee questions, and routine follow-up on plan administration.
• Maintain and update information within the HRIS to ensure data integrity and reliable reporting.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage day-to-day HR inquiries and provide timely administrative support.
• Assist with policy communication and documentation to promote consistency across HR practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within HR operations, including process updates and system-related tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices and HR administration.
• Experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
• Familiarity with benefits support, including employee assistance and routine administration.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS platforms to manage employee data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach.

Compensation

$28.00-$31.25 Hourly
