Sales Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day sales operations by preparing customer paperwork, updating pricing documentation, and ensuring account materials are accurate and complete.
• Assist with basic accounting activities, including invoice follow-up, accounts payable and receivable support, and routine work within QuickBooks.
• Analyze and review reports related to sales activity, expenses, inventory levels, deductions, and overall account performance to help inform business decisions.
• Coordinate meetings and communications with buyers, brokers, distributors, suppliers, and other external partners to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Provide ongoing support for major retail and distribution accounts, helping address requests, submissions, pricing questions, and time-sensitive follow-up items.
• Oversee daily administrative functions for the office, maintaining organization and ensuring essential operational tasks are handled efficiently.
• Learn and manage company platforms used for inventory tracking, accounting, reporting, and related administrative processes.
• Monitor deadlines and follow through on customer needs, deductions, documentation, and outstanding items to maintain strong service levels.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in sales support, sales administration, inside sales, or a related business support role.• Working knowledge of accounting support functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice coordination.
• Experience using QuickBooks and comfort working within reporting, inventory, or business management systems.
• Strong ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and manage follow-up tasks with minimal supervision.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, internal teams, and external business partners.
• Proficiency in reviewing business reports and handling detailed data with accuracy and consistency.
• Background in direct sales, inbound sales, outbound sales, or general sales support is preferred.
