Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join a non-profit organization on a Contract basis, supporting critical hiring initiatives from Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this short-term assignment, you will focus on identifying and engaging strong talent for director-level and finance-related positions while helping maintain an efficient, organized recruitment process. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage multiple searches at once, and provide a thoughtful candidate experience in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment activity for several director and finance openings, keeping each search on schedule and aligned with hiring goals.
• Identify prospective candidates using industry networks, online sourcing tools, referrals, and job platforms to build strong talent pipelines.
• Evaluate resumes, reach out to potential applicants, and conduct initial screening conversations to assess fit and interest.
• Arrange interviews between candidates and hiring teams while ensuring timely updates and smooth coordination throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, hiring notes, and pipeline activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Communicate consistently with stakeholders and applicants to promote a responsive, organized, and positive hiring experience.
• Support full-cycle recruiting efforts by moving candidates efficiently through sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and follow-up.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably with exposure to director-level, executive, or finance and accounting searches, Nonprofit Recruiting experience highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to source talent proactively and manage candidate pipelines across multiple open positions.

• Strong background in full-cycle recruiting, including screening, coordination, and candidate communication.

• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and applicant tracking systems to support hiring activity.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

• Clear and detailed verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a fully remote work environment.

Compensation

$25.00-$30.00 Hourly
