Contract Commerial Litigation Attorney

A well-established boutique commercial litigation firm is seeking an experienced Contract Litigation Attorney to provide immediate support on a busy and growing caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient, mid-level attorney who can step in quickly, manage assignments independently, and contribute from day one.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests and discovery motions
• Prepare law and motion pleadings, including motions to compel, motions to change venue, and other substantive filings
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on litigation issues
• Draft pleadings, meet-and-confer correspondence, and case-related communications
• Assist with litigation strategy and case management
• Support attorneys in preparation for arbitration and trial-related matters
• Review case files, identify action items, and help move matters forward efficiently
• Attend occasional in-person meetings, court-related discussions, or document reviews as needed

Work Arrangement

• Remote with occasional in-person attendance for meetings or document-related matters
• Flexible schedule provided internal deadlines and client needs are met

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Local to Los Angeles and available for occasional in-person meetings when needed
• Strong law and motion experience with the ability to independently draft substantive motions
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
