VP/Director of Finance
Responsibilities:
• Direct core accounting activities, including oversight of the general ledger, close processes, reconciliations, payables, receivables, payroll review, and fixed asset accounting.
• Produce timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring accuracy and alignment with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis to support decision-making and financial performance management.
• Oversee cost and inventory accounting for manufacturing operations, including analysis of production-related expenses and operational trends.
• Partner with operations, purchasing, and supply chain stakeholders to improve financial insight and support better business outcomes.
• Strengthen internal controls, formalize accounting policies, and implement more efficient financial procedures across the organization.
• Support the shift from outsourced accounting support to a more fully internalized finance function as part of the company’s growth strategy.
• Collaborate with domestic and international finance leadership to deliver analysis, recommendations, and reporting for senior executives.
• Prepare for external audits, manage supporting schedules, and help ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting obligations.
• Build, coach, and develop finance and accounting talent while helping shape the future structure of the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Background in a senior finance role such as Controller, Assistant Controller, Finance Manager, or similar position.
• Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, automotive, electronics, or clean energy environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, annual budgeting, budget administration, and cash flow forecasting.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial support for operational teams.
• Ability to work strategically while remaining comfortable with detailed, hands-on financial management.
• Effective communication skills with experience presenting financial information to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
