Location: Palm Beach County, FL (Onsite)
A well-established boutique litigation practice in Palm Beach County is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys litigation, values mentorship, and wants to develop expertise in a highly specialized area of law. The firm is open to attorneys from a variety of litigation backgrounds and provides substantial training and support.
The Role:
• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution with direct mentorship
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, correspondence, and other documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare concise, actionable legal analyses
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Prepare trial materials, exhibits, witness outlines, and hearing binders
• Maintain case organization, monitor deadlines, and manage an active caseload
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, standard business hours
• 100% onsite in Palm Beach County
Compensation:
• $130,000-$180,000 base salary (DOE)
• Quarterly discretionary bonus opportunities tied to individual and firm performance metrics
• Billable requirement: 6 hours per day
Ideal Background:
• Florida Bar member in good standing
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Family law experience is welcomed but not required
• Backgrounds in civil litigation, criminal prosecution, public defense, or similar litigation-focused practices will be considered
• Experience handling hearings, motion practice, depositions, and courtroom appearances
• Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Tech-savvy and comfortable utilizing case management and cloud-based systems
• Desire to learn a specialized area of law and grow within a boutique practice environment

Qualifications:
• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.• At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to contested matters and courtroom practice.
• Demonstrated ability to manage hearings, motion practice, depositions, and related advocacy responsibilities.
• Strong legal writing, research, and case organization skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive work product.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
• Comfort using legal technology, case management platforms, and cloud-based tools in daily practice.
• Experience in family law is valued but not required; candidates from civil litigation, prosecution, public defense, or similar litigation-focused backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
