A well-established regional law firm is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Legal Secretary to support a team of 3-4 attorneys handling sophisticated insurance defense matters. What You'll Do:
- Manage state and federal court e-filings
- Maintain attorney calendars and monitor critical deadlines
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents
- Create and format Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs)
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle
What We're Looking For:
- 3-10+ years of legal secretary experience
- Strong civil litigation background
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with court filings, calendaring, and legal document preparation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
· Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents related to employee benefits litigation.
· Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
· Utilize electronic filing systems for both state and federal courts.
· Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents through electronic filing platforms.
· Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, court appearances, and deadlines.
· Coordinate and confirm appointments, court dates, and meetings.
· Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.
· Create and update document indexes and filing systems.
· Interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
· Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications.
· Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including phone coverage, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
