Robert Half is hiring Financial Crimes Investigators (AML) to support a long-term investigative compliance project with a leading financial services organization.
You’ll analyze information, investigate unusual financial activity, research complex situations, and prepare clear investigative narratives that support regulatory compliance.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy research, analysis, investigative work, and strong written communication.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate unusual financial activity and identify situations requiring additional review
- Analyze information across multiple systems for patterns, inconsistencies, and trends
- Review transaction monitoring alerts and determine whether activity should be escalated
- Conduct detailed research and prepare concise investigative narratives
- Work in a highly regulated, quality-focused environment
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- At least 1 year of professional experience in an analytical, investigative, compliance, banking, fraud, finance, accounting, or research-focused role
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn multiple systems quickly
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
AML experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in fraud, compliance, investigations, banking, journalism, intelligence analysis, research, finance, or accounting are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
- $25/hour during paid training
- $30/hour after successful completion of training
- Monthly performance incentives up to $1,000
- Additional hours may be available based on business needs
- Long-term engagement with potential for extension and permanent opportunities
Schedule
Hybrid:
Monday & Friday remote
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite
Paid training begins in late September. Full availability during training is required.
