Project Manager
Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Project Manager (contract). In this role, you will lead and coordinate technology initiatives from planning through delivery. This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role is hybrid in Austin, Tx.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, documentation, and status reports.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and team communications.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and resource needs.
- Ensure compliance with established project management processes and governance standards.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive issue resolution and support successful project outcomes.
- Promote collaboration across multiple departments and teams.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management or project delivery experience within a technology-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and business units.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting organizational transformation, system implementations, integrations, or other enterprise initiatives is preferred.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion.
- Experience with project portfolio management, collaboration, and productivity tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project tracking platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within enterprise PMO environments.
- Familiarity with project governance, reporting, and resource management practices.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
