HD Engineer

Location: Waller, TX (100% Onsite)

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk / Service Desk Engineer to join a growing IT team supporting end users across multiple facilities in the Houston area. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional who enjoys hands-on support, user interaction, troubleshooting, and working across a broad range of technologies.

This individual will support desktop, laptop, mobile device, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking issues while assisting with onboarding, offboarding, imaging, hardware deployments, and day-to-day end-user support. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of IT support experience in an enterprise environment.

Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems.

Experience with Active Directory administration and user lifecycle management.

Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD user and license administration.

Experience imaging and deploying desktops and laptops.

Familiarity with VMware environments.

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Experience working within a help desk or ticketing system.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
