Desktop Support Analyst
Desktop Support Analyst Provides hands-on technical support for end users in Windows-based environments, including desktop/laptop deployment, PC imaging, workstation setup, hardware/software troubleshooting, SharePoint administration, and Microsoft 365 support. Responsible for preparing and configuring devices, onboarding users, resolving access and application issues, and ensuring a smooth desktop experience. Based on general knowledge.
Typical responsibilities:
- Image, configure, and deploy Windows desktops and laptops
- Set up workstations, peripherals, docking stations, monitors, and printers
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Perform basic SharePoint administration, user access support, permissions management, and site support
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, software, login, connectivity, and hardware issues
- Perform user account support, password resets, and access troubleshooting
- Handle device replacements, upgrades, and inventory tracking
- Provide deskside, remote, and ticket-based support
- Document issues, resolutions, and setup procedures
Qualifications:
- Windows 10/11 support
- PC imaging/deployment tools
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint support/administration
- Active Directory / user account support
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Ticketing systems
- Excellent customer service and communication
Compensation
