Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing organization in Boca Raton. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Support external audits and provide requested documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and special accounting projects.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
