Medical Front Desk
We are seeking a bilingual Patient Service Representative (PSR) with a medical background to support patient registration, scheduling, and front-end patient service functions. This role is responsible for assisting patients, answering questions, verifying information, and helping ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with registration and check-in processes
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
- Answer patient questions and help resolve concerns
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments
- Conduct appointment reminder and confirmation calls
- Verify insurance and support eligibility screening processes
- Collect payments and accurately document patient information
- Perform clerical tasks such as scanning and maintaining records
- Communicate with providers and staff regarding schedules, no-shows, and cancellations
- Help support billing follow-up and other administrative tasks
- Assist with additional departmental duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical background required
- Bilingual required (Spanish)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle patient information with confidentiality
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Compensation
