Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Post customer payments received via check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Research and respond to customer billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and payment histories.
• Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds as needed.
• Assist with cash application and daily cash reconciliations.
• Prepare AR reports and support month-end close activities.
• Work closely with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve issues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
