IT Business Analyst

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to support software implementation projects from requirements gathering through go-live and post-deployment support. This role works closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, vendors, and end users to ensure business needs are translated into effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand current and future-state processes.
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, process maps, gap analyses, and functional specifications.
• Support software implementation activities including configuration discussions, testing, issue resolution, and deployment readiness.
• Partner with technical teams and software vendors to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, track defects, and ensure business signoff.
• Assist with data mapping, migration validation, and integration requirements as needed.
• Create training materials, user documentation, and support change management efforts.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend process or system improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software, systems, or enterprise application implementations.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and testing coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other enterprise software platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps, SQL, or reporting tools.
• Experience supporting change management and end-user training during implementations.
