Position Summary
The HR Employee Resource Manager oversees the daily operations of the HR Employee Resource Center, serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, front-desk reception, and foundational HR support services. This role directly supervises two full-time employees and a team of student employees, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and accurate administrative operations.

In addition to managing front-line operations, the Manager supports key HR processes—including new hire onboarding, data entry, employment verifications, personnel file compliance, employee orientation, and international employee documentation. Furthermore, this position manages critical departmental operations, including purchasing, work orders, telecommunications, and building/badge access.

This position is not eligible for remote work.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent operational experience
* 1 to 3 years of lead and/or supervisory experience.
* Previous experience in Human Resources with knowledge of onboarding, recruiting, or other basic HR functions
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct a diverse staff while promoting an inviting and equitable workplace environment.
* Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic
* Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
* Understanding of and commitment to excellent customer service
* Highly organized and efficient worker; skilled at multi-tasking and an eye for process improvement
* Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and different communications styles
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a large, complex organization
* Experience using an HRIS and/or CRM system

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
Salary is dependent on several factors, and new employees will typically start around the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band. PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.

The starting annual salary for this position will be $49,140-$54,960 but may be negotiated above this rate dependent upon the factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR.
