Sr. Residential Loan Servicer
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Residential Loan Servicer to help oversee the day-to-day administration of residential and consumer loan accounts with a client in the Boston area. This position is ideal for someone who can balance operational accuracy, regulatory awareness, and responsive service to both customers and internal stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative banking environment where strong loan servicing knowledge and sound judgment are highly valued.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and maintain residential, consumer, and investor loans within the core processing system.
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with lending policies.
- Process loan modifications, HELOC maintenance, index changes, and investor reporting.
- Manage MERS registrations and reconciliations.
- Oversee PMI administration, investor funding, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and executive reporting.
- Assist with audits, regulatory examinations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for internal teams and customers by resolving loan servicing inquiries and escalated issues.
Qualifications:
Background:
- 3-5 years of residential or consumer loan servicing experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
- Experience with core banking systems (COCC experience is a plus).
Compensation
