Staff Accountant
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Bergen County, New Jersey. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing the processing and payment of invoices in our Accounts Payable department
• Overseeing the collection and recording of payments in our Accounts Receivable department
• Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in our financial data
• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Preparing journal entries and posting them to the appropriate accounts
• Assisting with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Utilizing various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and keeping up-to-date with changes in the financial industry.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of General Ledger management
• Familiarity with Journal Entries
• Ability to handle Month End Close activities
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks
• Experience with Oracle financial software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
• Knowledge of SAP financial software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Compensation
