Healthcare Compliance Investigator (JD Preferred)

Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Investigator to support a high-profile healthcare organization through year-end, with potential for longer-term opportunities. This role will lead complex investigations involving compliance, ethics, regulatory, and workplace matters. The ideal candidate has experience conducting independent investigations in a healthcare, academic medical center, or higher education environment and can confidently manage cases from intake through final report.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance, ethics, regulatory, and workplace investigations
• Manage investigations from intake through resolution
• Interview witnesses and review documentation
• Analyze evidence and prepare investigative findings reports
• Recommend corrective actions and support risk mitigation efforts
• Manage and document compliance hotline complaints and investigations

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD strongly preferred
• 3+ years of healthcare compliance, investigations, risk, audit, or regulatory experience
• Experience conducting independent investigations and preparing findings reports
• Healthcare industry experience required; academic medical center or higher education experience preferred
• Background in fraud, waste & abuse (FWA), retaliation, employee misconduct, ethics, or regulatory investigations is highly desirable
