Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Data Entry Clerk to support project operations in York, South Carolina. This part-time opportunity is a Long-term Contract position expected to run 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The role is well suited to someone who works carefully with high-volume information, stays organized, and can produce accurate records in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update spreadsheets with current project and site-related information, ensuring records remain accurate and easy to access.
• Enter a wide range of operational details, including employee hour logs, inspection results, safety records, daily activity summaries, and other project documents.
• Check submitted information for completeness and resolve inconsistencies or missing details before finalizing entries.
• Organize electronic files and tracking documents so project teams can retrieve information efficiently when needed.
• Prepare data summaries and support routine reporting needs for managers and site leadership.
• Monitor spreadsheets for errors or duplicate entries and make timely corrections to preserve data integrity.
• Provide administrative assistance on related assignments that help keep jobsite documentation current and well managed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in data entry is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Ability to enter numeric and text-based information with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to reviewing work for errors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior exposure to construction, trades, plumbing, or jobsite documentation is helpful but not required.

Compensation

$19.95-$23.10 Hourly
