Financial Analyst - Financial Services

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a successful financial services team in Grimes, Iowa with a company culture that is SECOND TO NONE! This position focuses on evaluating client financial information, uncovering meaningful trends, and supporting the development of personalized planning strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, a solid understanding of financial documentation, and the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Examine financial information for existing and prospective clients to assess overall financial position and viability.

• Collect and evaluate documents such as financial statements, tax filings, and investment records to support accurate analysis.

• Interpret financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities that may influence planning decisions.

• Contribute to the creation of tailored financial plans that align with client objectives and target timelines.

• Build and test financial models to compare scenarios and measure the potential impact of different strategies.

• Present analytical findings clearly so stakeholders can make informed financial decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements with accuracy and insight.
• Experience reviewing tax returns, investment documents, and other financial records.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial findings clearly and with attention to detail.

Compensation

$75,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
