Payroll Specialist
Join a collaborative team where accuracy, client service, and continuous learning are valued. We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support a diverse client base and manage payroll processing from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for multiple client accounts.
- Enter employee hours and payroll information accurately and efficiently.
- Process direct deposits and payroll checks.
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including Forms 941, 940, and W-2s.
- Calculate and remit federal and state payroll tax payments.
- Administer payroll deductions, including pre-tax benefits, insurance, and 401(k) contributions.
- Track and maintain PTO balances, accruals, and employee benefit information.
- Set up new employees, vendors, and payroll-related records.
- Provide exceptional client service by answering payroll questions and resolving issues.
- Process payroll for both union and non-union employees across multiple states, including Iowa, Illinois, and Georgia.
- Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and deadlines while managing confidential information.
Qualifications:
Previous payroll experience required.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data management.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Experience with Accounting CS is preferred, but training will be provided.
Compensation
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
