Hotel Lobby Ambassador
We are looking for a Lobby Ambassador Coordinator to support an elevated guest arrival experience at a prominent hotel in New York, New York. This is a Contract position expected to run for approximately two months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The person in this role will serve as a visible presence in the lobby, helping guests feel welcomed while supporting day-to-day front office operations in a service-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome arriving guests with a courteous, attentive approach and create a positive first impression from the moment they enter the property.
• Offer clear directions, answer general questions, and help visitors navigate hotel spaces, amenities, and services with confidence.
• Monitor the lobby area throughout the shift to ensure it remains orderly, presentable, and aligned with high hospitality standards.
• Address guest needs and concerns promptly while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused demeanor in a busy setting.
• Uphold public-area guidelines and communicate hotel expectations respectfully and consistently when guest behavior requires redirection.
• Partner closely with front office leadership to support lobby flow, guest interactions, and overall arrival and departure activity.
• Assist with inbound calls and basic phone coverage when needed, ensuring inquiries are handled appropriately.

Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, front desk support, guest services, concierge work, or a comparable customer-facing role.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in a warm, courteous, and detail-oriented manner.
• Confidence in setting boundaries and reinforcing property standards with tact and good judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced lobby environment while staying composed and attentive to detail.
• Experience assisting visitors, providing directions, and responding to guest questions or service requests.
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems or switchboard coverage is preferred.
• Dependable schedule flexibility to support various 8-hour shifts across a 24/7 operation.
• Detail-oriented presentation and adherence to a formal business dress code are required.
Compensation
