Accounts Receivable Specialist – Cash Application

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Job Summary

We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a focus on cash application. This role will support the accurate and timely posting of customer payments, research unapplied cash, and help maintain the integrity of receivables records. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Post customer payments received through various channels
• Apply cash accurately to customer accounts and open invoices
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies
• Reconcile daily cash activity and support account balancing
• Communicate with internal teams regarding payment issues
• Maintain accurate customer account records
• Assist with account reconciliations and reporting
• Support month-end close and audit requests related to receivables

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts receivable with cash application responsibilities
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet software
