Production Designer
Job Title: Production Designer (4–6 Month Contract)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Designer for a 4–6 month onsite contract with our agency team in Atlanta. In this role, you will work directly on high-volume production deliverables for a major global manufacturing client.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional prepress and print production expertise, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly extend established brand guidelines across complex print collateral.
Key Responsibilities
- Print Production & Prepress: Prepare mechanicals, lay out mechanical files, and verify prepress specs (bleed, trim, live area, color modes, DPI) for high-volume commercial print production.
- Asset Production & Scaling: Adapt existing creative concepts into production-ready mechanicals across multiple sizes, formats, and physical layouts.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous file checks for brand consistency, typography, image resolution, and accuracy before final file handoff.
- Collaborative Execution: Work closely with creative directors, art directors, and account teams onsite to keep fast-paced agency projects moving on schedule.
- Vendor Handoff: Package clean, error-free final files (InDesign, Illustrator, PDF/X) according to specific printer and production specs.
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of production design experience, ideally within an advertising agency, internal creative department, or studio production environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro).
- Print Expertise: Deep understanding of offset, digital, and large-format printing processes, pre-flighting, color management (CMYK/Pantone), and paper stocks.
- Indoor Signage Experience (Plus): Direct experience preparing assets for large-format indoor signage, point-of-sale displays, or trade show/environmental graphics is strongly preferred.
- Execution Focus: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage file naming conventions, version control, and tight project deadlines.

- Format: 100% Onsite at our agency workspace in Atlanta, GA.
- Duration: 4 to 6 months (Full-time hours, contract).
