Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial transactions and investigate account discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and support management reporting needs.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
