Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting accounting operations, and assisting with reporting and process improvement initiatives. This role works closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial information, identify trends, and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and transactions to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Research and resolve accounting issues while ensuring data accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and validate financial information.
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Recommend and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting, finance, or analytical experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial modeling.
• CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
