Human Resources (HR) Generalist
We are searching for an HR Generalist to take responsibility of the HR functions for a growing company. This company focuses on real estate acquisitions within the boating industry. This role is hybrid, but can also be remote for the ideal candidate. Our client is based in Miami, FL with operations in GA, SC, and NC. Ideally the candidate will reside in one of these states.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing
- Health benefit management
- 401k management
- Insurance/Workers comp claims
- Employee management
- Onboarding new employees
- Processing termination and separation paperwork
- Managing the employee handbook and other company policies
- Employee certifications
- Employee retention
- Interviewing candidates for new roles within organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Ability to work independently handling all human resources aspects for company
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Salary & Benefits
This position will pay a base salary of $60k. They cover 100% benefits for the employee and provide 3 weeks of PTO.
