Recruiter

We are looking for a Contract Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts in California. This role will manage talent acquisition activities from opening requisitions through onboarding, helping the organization attract candidates with relevant experience across multiple teams. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing ability, sound judgment in candidate evaluation, and experience coordinating a detail-oriented and efficient hiring process.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for a range of openings, ensuring timely progress from intake through offer stage.
• Develop and refresh job postings and position summaries while using creative outreach methods to expand candidate pipelines.
• Identify, engage, and assess talent through applicant tracking systems, networking, direct outreach, and market research.
• Coordinate interview logistics and participate in candidate conversations to support a smooth and organized selection process.
• Partner with HR to complete reference checks and background screening steps before onboarding.
• Maintain active requisitions with regular updates and use recruiting platforms to improve the quality and volume of applicants.
• Strengthen talent pipelines by participating in community engagement efforts and career events.
• Prepare weekly hiring activity updates and recruiting metrics for leadership review.
• Support new employee onboarding by leading orientation sessions, reviewing employment documentation, and organizing required materials for first-day readiness.
• Assist with onboarding administration, including I-9 verification, handbook preparation, orientation packets, and new employee identification materials.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, corporate recruiting, or talent acquisition.
• Demonstrated success sourcing candidates through multiple channels, including ATS platforms, networking, and direct outreach.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment while maintaining attention to detail and candidate quality.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and standard recruiting workflows.
• Ability to coordinate interviews, onboarding tasks, and pre-employment screening in a timely manner.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work across departments.
• Experience in hospitality or hospitality-related recruiting environments is preferred.

Compensation

$20.59-$25.00 Hourly
