Recruiter
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Professional to support hiring efforts for a mission focused organization in Columbia, South Carolina. This role focuses on identifying candidates with relevant experience, managing recruiting activity from outreach through offer stages, and helping maintain an efficient and organized hiring process. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing ability, comfort working in a fast-paced environment, and experience using applicant tracking systems to manage recruitment workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from opening requisitions and sourcing talent to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions.
• Build candidate pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, job postings, and other targeted sourcing strategies.
• Manage a high volume of open positions while maintaining consistent communication with applicants and hiring stakeholders.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, align on candidate profiles, and move searches forward efficiently.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, job statuses, and workflow updates within the applicant tracking system.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate evaluations to identify individuals whose background aligns with position requirements.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and guide candidates through each stage of the selection process.
• Support recruitment-related process updates or system changes as needed while helping preserve a smooth hiring experience
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or public sector environment.
• Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruitment across sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Ability to support hiring demands while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system to document activity and manage candidate progression.
• Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage candidates with relevant experience through multiple channels.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation
