Sr. Financial Analyst

Compensation: $80 to $90 Yearly

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support critical planning, reporting, and performance analysis activities for a manufacturing organization in Ogden, Utah. This role will translate financial data into meaningful business insights, helping leaders make informed operational and strategic decisions. The position works closely with finance and cross-functional partners to strengthen reporting accuracy, improve forecasting processes, and drive greater consistency across analytical tools and controls.

Responsibilities:
• Support monthly close activities by preparing financial analyses, contributing to forecast updates, and assisting with consolidated reporting deliverables.
• Create recurring executive reporting materials that summarize business results, key trends, and notable variances in a clear and concise format.
• Lead the coordination of monthly outlook and quarterly forecast consolidation, ensuring timely submission, accuracy, and alignment across reporting groups.
• Collaborate with finance leadership and technology partners to maintain reliable financial data and reinforce effective internal controls.
• Refine and standardize reporting methods, analytical templates, and planning processes to improve efficiency and increase forecast reliability.
• Perform targeted analysis to identify opportunities tied to operational and financial performance improvement initiatives.
• Present high-level financial findings and business implications to operations management and senior leadership audiences.
• Deliver responsive ad hoc reporting and decision-support analysis based on evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing or similarly complex business environment.
• Strong capability in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance interpretation.
• Proficiency in consolidating financial information and translating data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to work with large datasets using data mining and analytical techniques to identify trends and exceptions.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and communicating findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial controls and data integrity practices that support reliable reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and shifting priorities effectively.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$90,000.00 Yearly
