Attorney/Lawyer

A well-established law firm is seeking an attorney to join its commercial and real estate litigation practice. This attorney will manage a range of business and property-related disputes while working directly with clients throughout the litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial, business, and real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in contract disputes, business disputes, landlord-tenant matters, and other property-related litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other involved parties.
• Manage case deadlines and maintain organized files.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan Bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience
• Prior commercial litigation, real estate litigation, or related civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.

Compensation

$150,000.00-$175,000.00 Yearly
