Paralegal/Doc Review
Responsibilities: • Examine correspondence, notices, and related records involving landlord matters to help assess legal exposure and support potential litigation strategy. • Conduct factual research and investigative work to gather background information, supporting documents, and relevant timelines for active matters. • Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and legal documentation using case management tools and Microsoft applications such as SharePoint and Outlook. • Assist with document review projects by identifying key facts, tracking important communications, and summarizing findings for attorneys and stakeholders. • Support litigation preparation by compiling exhibits, preparing document sets, and helping manage materials needed for hearings, discovery, or trial-related activity. • Monitor property-related issues, including facility concerns such as elevator repair matters, and help document developments that may affect legal proceedings. • Coordinate with internal teams and outside parties to obtain records, clarify outstanding issues, and maintain accurate case updates throughout the matter lifecycle.
The pay range for this position is 35 to 50. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Qualifications:
• Prior experience in paralegal, document review, or litigation support work.• Working knowledge of discovery processes, civil litigation procedures, and trial preparation activities.
• Familiarity with case management software and the ability to keep legal files organized and current.
• Exposure to commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or related property matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint for communication, document handling, and collaboration.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and handle multiple priorities in a Contract role.
Compensation
