Back End Developer

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join a manufacturing organization in Kansas City, Kansas. This role focuses on building and maintaining reliable web application functionality while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong programming fundamentals, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to contribute to modern application development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and support server-side application features that align with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated web solutions across multiple projects.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to improve quality and consistency.
• Develop and optimize APIs and application logic to support performance, reliability, and scalability goals.
• Troubleshoot defects, identify root causes, and implement timely fixes to maintain system stability.
• Contribute to user interface integration by working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks as needed.
• Document technical solutions, development standards, and implementation details to support ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in software development with a focus on backend or full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience working with React.js in a development environment.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks to support application integration.
• Ability to create efficient, well-structured code and apply sound debugging practices.
• Familiarity with API development, system troubleshooting, and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting application development within a manufacturing or operational environment is a plus.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$130,000.00 Yearly
