Human Resources (HR) Director

Compensation: $150 to $170 Yearly

As Director of Human Resources, you will be essential to an HR and strategic planning process. This role will be heavily engaged with both the direct team and outsourced HR Providers ensuring that talent acquisition, performance management systems and incentive compensation systems are effectively deployed throughout the North America organization. This leader will partner with each of the operating managers to ensure we are driving a positive company culture. The ideal candidate will be strategic, business focused, and hands-on support. Must have manufacturing experience. This position is on-site 5 days a week. Client offers a competitive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and bonus. The salary target is $150k-$170k plus bonus.

Qualifications:

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Develop, update and implement Human Resources Handbook, policies, and procedures.

·      Support strategic business objectives, and future acquisitions.

·      Lead talent acquisition, labor planning, hiring process and negotiation of employment agreements for both full-time employees and third-party temporary staffing employees.

·      Deliver effective strategic HR initiatives to drive employee performance and engagement.

·      Administer HR programs with third party vendors (payroll, 401K and employee benefit plans)

·      Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws/regulations including, but not limited to, ERISA and EEO regulations.

·      Develop, implement and manage a formal annual performance management process that aligns employee targets and compensation with strategic and operative objectives.

·      Manage incentive plans and understand Executive Compensation plans to ensure calculation and processing.

·      Maintain company organizational charts and the employee directory.

·      Develop, implement and manage training programs to support employee development and growth.

·      Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve department efficiency.

·      Maintain HR information system records and compile reports using our HR and payroll service.

·      Work closely with hiring managers to ensure strong talent sourcing strategies are in place for efficient and effective talent sourcing through our Applicant Tracking System.

·      Work closely with key leaders to develop frameworks to identify and monitor high potential employees in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.

·      Lead HR strategy and budget.

·      Partner with Safety to ensure best in class safety and training programs.

·      Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

·     Minimum of ten years’ experience in Human Resources

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written to interact knowledgeably with and impact both internal and external parties

·      Ability to speak Spanish preferred

·      In-depth knowledge of Federal, State and local labor regulations and HR practices

·      Be able to demonstrate business acumen by synthesizing and analyzing information effectively

·      Hands-on and proactive workstyle

·      Able to build alignment for initiatives and programs

·      Superior project management ability and drive-for-results mentality

·      Keen ability to think and act strategically, planning for the long-term while balancing the short and long-range needs of the organization

·      Ability to partner effectively with all lines of business internally

·      Demonstrated excellence in managing HR functions.

·      Detail oriented and strong follow through

·      Manufacturing experience, food and beverage preferred

·      SHRM, SHPR or PHR certification preferred

·      Previous experience working in Private Equity preferred

·      M& A experience preferred

·      Food Industry highly preferred
