Director of Operations

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to provide senior leadership for operational performance and business execution at a manufacturing site in Green Bay. This role will guide cross-functional teams, strengthen process discipline, and ensure daily operations meet safety, quality, and productivity expectations. The position also contributes to broader business planning by aligning operational priorities with financial goals, workforce development, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

• Direct site-wide manufacturing and operational activities to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and support reliable customer delivery.

• Lead functions such as production oversight, process engineering coordination, maintenance planning, production scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Establish and reinforce a strong safety culture by promoting compliance with OSHA expectations, environmental standards, and safe handling practices for hazardous materials.

• Evaluate operating performance through key metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes that increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve consistency.

• Partner with business leaders across departments to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and execution of site objectives.

• Develop team capability by coaching leaders, strengthening accountability, and building a high-performing workforce across core operational areas.

• Ensure manufacturing processes remain compliant, dependable, and scalable while supporting business expansion and customer satisfaction.

• Drive operational excellence efforts focused on process optimization, equipment reliability, and disciplined execution across the facility

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex manufacturing or site operations at a senior level.
• Strong background in operations management, operational administration, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles or experience working in chemical or process-driven manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of environmental, occupational, and OSHA-related safety requirements within an industrial setting.
• Experience overseeing hazardous chemical handling practices and maintaining safe operating conditions.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and maintenance coordination in support of manufacturing performance.
• Proven ability to improve operational results through process enhancement, workforce leadership, and performance management.

Compensation

$150,000.00-$180,000.00 Yearly
