Inventory Coordinator I

We are looking for an organized Inventory Coordinator I to support material control activities in Delaware, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position is well suited to someone who is comfortable working with inventory records, reviewing stock accuracy, and helping maintain efficient material movement across assigned areas. The role combines hands-on inventory verification with system-based tracking to identify discrepancies and support reliable day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine walkthroughs of designated areas to inspect Kanban bins and verify inventory conditions.
• Complete scheduled cycle counts and investigate quantity variances to help resolve stock issues promptly.
• Record and monitor material activity using inventory and tracking applications with a high level of accuracy.
• Compare physical inventory levels against system data and reconcile differences in on-hand balances.
• Identify process gaps affecting material availability and recommend practical steps to improve flow and control.
• Support inventory audits by gathering data, validating counts, and documenting findings for follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with team members to address material handling concerns and maintain organized stock locations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, or related operational experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of materials handling and inventory control practices.
• Ability to perform cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation tasks accurately.
• Comfortable using computer-based tracking systems and maintaining inventory records.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process consistency.
• Ability to move through operational areas regularly and handle materials as needed.

Compensation

$18.00-$19.50 Hourly
