Sr Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern cloud-based applications. This role requires strong experience with .NET, C#, Azure, and Angular, along with a passion for developing scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications utilizing C#, .NET, Angular, and Azure
• Build and support cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Implement secure coding practices and application security standards
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience developing applications with:
• C#
• .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 8+
• Angular
• SQL Server
• Experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure DevOps
• Azure SQL
• Azure Storage
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with REST APIs and web services
• Proficiency working within Agile development environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
• Microservices architecture
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Entity Framework
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git source control
• Azure Service Bus
• Application Insights
• Azure certifications are a plus
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring developers
